Helping a community food enterprise increase visibility, connect with customers and grow online sales.
The challenge
Galloway Food Hub was established by Propagate to improve access to locally grown food across rural communities in Galloway. Working with independent producers who grow, farm and produce food in environmentally responsible and humane ways, the organisation has created a hyper-local supply chain focused on fresh, seasonal produce.
As a growing social enterprise, Galloway Food Hub needed a strong online presence to raise awareness of its work, communicate its values and encourage customers to purchase locally grown food. The initial requirement was for a simple website that could clearly showcase the project and support online sales.
How we helped
We designed and developed a simple web presence that provided a clear introduction to Galloway Food Hub, its producers and its mission, while creating an easy route for customers to purchase local produce.
We have continued to work with the team through ongoing website maintenance and enhancements, including the development of a blog, SEO improvements to increase visibility in search engines, staff training resources and regular security updates to ensure the site remains secure and effective.
The result
- Professional online presence that clearly communicates the organisation's purpose and values
- Improved visibility through ongoing SEO optimisation
- Enhanced website functionality and content through regular development
- Increased staff confidence through tailored training and support
“A great team with a wide range of skills. All were invaluable to our project and helped to take us to the next level. We really appreciate the support and understanding of our project's aims.” Lesley, Galloway Food
